Hydrangea CPR

Summer has arrived and the hydrangeas are everywhere. Isn’t it frustrating when you put your new hydrangeas in a vase and the next day they appear to have died?  Did you know you can bring them back to life?

When you come across a wilted or dead (at least appears to be) hydrangea use this trick to perform hydrangea CPR!

First, remove the hydrangea from the water and with a sharp pair of scissors cut the bottom of the stem off diagonally.

Then, place it into a different vase filled with very warm (almost hot but not quite) water.  It could take an hour, or it could be overnight, but your hydrangeas will pop back to life as pretty as when you first got them!

This trick can be used multiple times on the same hydrangeas to lengthen their life span!
