"German precision, Italian elegance, Spanish nature and French taste"
2017 marks Peter Langner’s 25th anniversary in the bridal and fashion industry! Therefore, we felt it appropriate to dedicate this blog post to Peter and his innovative, fashion forward brand. Scroll through below to learn more about Peter Langner's Atelier and check out some of our absolute favorites from his collections!
For 25 years, the name Peter Langner has been synonymous with excellence, imagination, and refinement. At the young age of twenty-four Peter left his home in Hanover Germany to attend school in Paris at the world renowned Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale to follow his passion to be come a great couturier. Completing his studies with distinction, he went directly to work and learn from the masters at the famous design houses of Christian Dior, Emanuel Ungaro, Guy LaRoche and Christian Lacroix.
Since his first collection in 1992 that launched the brand onto the world market, the Peter Langner Atelier has never ceased to assert its vision: elegant lines, use of structure, architectural shapes, and custom made detailing.
Peter Langner has assembled an amazing staff of artisans who have the rare capability to turn Peter’s designs into reality. Every dress designed, sewn and beaded in the Peter Langner workroom in Milan uses the most precious fabrics from Italy and France as well as the finest crystals.
Daily each cutter, seamstress and embroiderer are asked to stretch their skills to push forward into a new dimension of fabric manipulation or even creating their own sequins; a continuous search for something new yet never relinquishing the goal of perfection and the highest quality.
Peter Langner is also a dear friend of Rachel Mistretta's, the owner of Betty Bridal. They have a wonderful relationship and sincerely enjoy working together. Below is an image of Peter at Betty Bridal Atelier working with one of our clients! It was lovely to have him here and we hope he returns soon!
